Bath Towels

WASHING

First, avoid washing your terry bath linen at a temperature above 40°C. If you wish to disinfect your linen, add two tablespoons of baking soda directly into the drum of your washing machine. Avoid mixing fibers — in other words, do not wash your terry bath linen with other materials — to help limit the formation of lint or cotton pills. Never overload the machine, as this allows the linen to move freely during washing and ensures optimal rinsing.

Use a classic, neutral detergent. Avoid adding fabric softener, as it coats the fibers and reduces their absorbency during use. Instead, use white vinegar in the rinse compartment, which will help soften the fabric and revive the colors.

DRYING

Terry bath linen responds well to tumble drying at a medium temperature. Do not leave your linen sitting in the machine once the cycle is finished, as this can create creases and marks. Ideally, hang your linen while it is still slightly damp to finish drying in the open air. This way, it will remain very soft and absorbent, and will not require any ironing.

IRONING

This step is neither necessary nor recommended, as ironing tends to heat and flatten the natural fibers, partially reducing their absorbent properties.
